A transparent introduction to Priorat: old local varieties and llicorella character without oak covering the fruit.

The heir to village cooperatives founded from 1917 in Gratallops, El Lloar and the two Vilellas. Around 140 families manage hundreds of small parcels, including old Grenache and Carignan on llicorella slate; the cooperative controls the process from vineyard to bottle.

Black cherry, ripe plum, pepper and slate; medium-bodied with fine tannins, warm fruit and a mineral, spicy finish.

How it is made
Handpicked fruit from terraces up to 50 years old; stainless-steel fermentation; 27,138 bottles.
