An unconventional but compelling Sangiovese shaped by ancient marine soils and long, large-format oak ageing.
A boutique Umbrian estate near Orvieto. Its sloping vineyards sit on ancient sand-and-clay soils rich in fossilised marine shells, a geological signature that helps retain acidity and gives the wines their distinctive mineral line.

Cherry, ripe red fruit and flowers with subtle oak; fresh, mineral and silky, with depth and clear ageing potential.
How it is made
Fossil-rich sandy soils; 18 months in new 500-litre French oak followed by at least six months in bottle.
