A rare-variety old-vine field blend with real concentration and bottle-age potential, produced in a very small quantity.

A seven-generation family estate at Ervedosa do Douro. Furada restored its traditional granite and schist lagares for foot-trodden vinification, while the Pata D'Urso wines draw on very old mixed vineyards and long, patient cellar ageing.

Ripe white fruit with subtle wood; broad and concentrated yet fresh and elegant, with a long, balanced finish.

How it is made
Hand-picked fruit; 48-hour settling at 10°C, stainless-steel fermentation at 14°C and partial ageing in oak for nine months; 5,849 bottles.
